He is a passionate technologist that loves solving complex problems in creative and efficient ways. His most recent achievement is standing up a real-time event driven platform based on Apache Kafka. He is the father of two sons and enjoys cooking and exercising.

Leveraging real-time event streaming to integrate platforms at MassMutual

MassMutual is an Insurance and Financial company that supports numerous products. Over time we have built platforms to support these products, using various technologies to integrate systems. With our digital transformation, we have decided to leverage Apache Kafka as an integration engine to tie these sources together. In this session, we will go over how MassMutual has implemented Kafka, and present learnings from our setup of the platform. We will also go over some use cases we have implemented on the platform.
